Dining in California can be tricky: one minute you’re doing California casual drinks by the pool, the next, you’re hosting a formal sit-down for 12.

That’s why Chef Lori’s “New California Bistro” style is so fantastic. Versatile and exciting, her menus pay tribute to the Golden State’s traditions no matter what the occasion, using fresh, local ingredients. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Lori also completed a stint for famed California-based restauranteur Wolfgang Puck’s catering company and gets rave reviews from her clients.

College educated with a BA from Columbia College Chicago and a culinary diploma from Le Cordon Bleu, my training started on the line at a few of Los Angeles's finest restaurants. The past few years have been a focus on developing my personal style and contribution to the culinary world in the greater Los Angeles area.

I specialize in customized experiences and menus focusing on high quality casual to high-end and formally plated Southern California fare that is approachable, elegant, and from scratch. My experience ranges from small, private dinners to large catered and corporate events.

We couldn't have had a better chef!

We decided on Chef Lori as a group and we couldn't have had a better chef!! Her food was absolutely delicious. You can tell she has a passion for food. For our particular menu she picked the perfect items - the food tasted so fresh and was so filling. My personal favorite was her berry pie that she made for dessert. Plus she made extra so we had leftovers and got to enjoy a whole berry pie the next day for breakfast. AND you know what the best part is? She fit right in with our crazy group of women lol!! I've told everyone I know about Chef Lori and Foodpeople. You won't be disappointed!!
